On May 10, the 'Clean and Efficient Incineration Technology for Ultra-Low Volatility Ultra-Fine Carbon-Containing Fuels', led by the Circulating Fluidized Bed Laboratory of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics (IET), successfully passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal. The appraisal meeting was organized by the China Society of Particle Science (CSPS), with an appraisal committee comprising nine authoritative experts from universities and enterprises. Academician Lyu Junfu of Tsinghua University served as the committee chair, while Researcher Ge Wei from the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPE-CAS), and Professor Bie Rushan from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) served as vice-chairs.
